Show Me the Money Day is a fun and free event designed to help community members learn more about financial resources in the Holland area.

Attendees will hear from local professionals through workshops on topics like managing credit and debt, budgeting, and exploring loans for cars and first-time homebuyers!

Workshop & Seminar Schedule

• 10:00 AM: Loans for Cars and First-Time Homebuyers
• 11:00 AM: Credit Basics and Debt Management
• 12:00 PM: How to Avoid Identity Theft and Scams
• 12:25 PM: Work Readiness
• 1:00 PM: Strategies for Budgeting

Participants will also have an opportunity to chat with representatives from a variety of local banks and nonprofits about their resources that can support them to become more financially resilient. Michigan Works will also be onsite and available to work one-on-one with individuals to create and update resumes.

Snacks will be provided, and attendees can also win prizes! The first 50 guests to complete a special event scavenger hunt can win $25 Meijer gift cards!

We'll be presenting a safe event for all of our guests and workshop presenters:

Masking and social distancing will be required throughout the duration of the event.

Eating or drinking will be allowed outdoors.

Box lunches may be enjoyed outdoors or in your car. (You may also wish to bring a warm layer since we plan to prop open the doors to increase fresh air circulation.)
