These classes are for individuals and families ready to learn more about the home purchase process, including local down payment assistance resources, credit, affordability, taxes, real estate, home inspections, mortgages, and insurance. Participants may earn the certificate required for the MSHDA down payment assistance and mortgage program and/or HOP grant.

Community Action House Education Services staff are certified by the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) and the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

Workshops are open to all Allegan and Ottawa Country residents at no cost. To receive a certificate of completion, participants must attend all workshop sessions.
