Community Action House is committed to taking active steps to create a more just, inclusive community. As a part of this effort, in 2021 we began holding dedicated shopping days at the CAH Resale Store, donating a portion or all of the sales to different organizations on the frontlines of addressing racial equality. 

This month, CAH honored Black History Month by partnering with I Am Academy, a local organization that empowers African American adolescents to achieve their full potential by cultivating relationships, supporting educational success, providing college experiences, facilitating job readiness, and providing other support. On February 25th, 100% of the Resale Store’s proceeds went directly to I Am Academy!
