Happy Thanksgiving! Every year, we provide extra Thanksgiving grocery assistance, offering additional support to the families we serve. Today at Community Action House, we're reflecting with gratitude on the community effort that makes this possible.

Over the last 9 days, we welcomed 1,500+ families, providing over 50,000 pounds of food and 1,300+ turkeys. That's over 50% busier than last year, as we respond to the growing need caused by inflation. This means that 4,000 neighbors will enjoy additional healthy food on their tables this Thanksgiving - an estimated 44,000+ meals worth of groceries, provided with love, from our community.

Our work is only possible because so many say 'yes' to building a network of support for the neighbors who need it most. Hundreds of volunteers, including corporate and church partners, stepped up to power our service. Thank you, for proving that we are a community where caring happens, and where none of our neighbors have to face challenges alone!
