Challenged by events of the past several years, in 2021 Community Action House committed to taking active steps to create a more just, inclusive community. As a part of this effort, we began dedicated shopping days at the CAH Resale Store, donating a portion of sales to different organizations on the frontlines of addressing racial equality. 

In February, CAH honored Black History Month by partnering with Women of Color Give, a local philanthropy circle that provides a space for women of color to connect and support causes that matter to them. This month, we recognized Juneteenth by dedicating 50% of sales from Saturday, June 18, to I Am Academy, a nonprofit focused on dismantling the school-to-prison pipeline.
